Casting Call: NEWSREADER

Description

Looking to cast an actor (male or female) to play a newsreader for a corporate training video.

- playing age 35-55
- Men and women of all ethnicities open to apply
- Natural US accent preferred but British RP also potentially an option
- Will need to supply your own wardrobe which must be an appropriate formal outfit for a tv newsreader

The film recreates a breaking news segment from an American news channel so we are seeking someone who can emulate the slick professional CNN newsanchor style of presenters like Anderson Cooper and Jake Tapper.

The job involves reading two short scripts from an autocue. Our filming time is limited so please only apply if you have some experience reading from autocue - this is not the job to have your first crack at trying it!

Fee: £125 for approx. 2 hours of shooting time on location in a central London office.

Shoot is likely to be Wednesday or Thursday this week (22nd/23rd October)
