The Blue Room is a short film created with the intent on highlighting the effects of dementia.

Logline: A retired army man faces his greatest battle yet-dementia-as fleeting clarity allows him and his daughter a final moment of connection before the illness consumes him again.

Main Cast:

WILFRED (60/80) A retired army man, prideful in his ability to overcome adversity and show no fear. However, when faced with dementia, Wilfred must learn to accept his fate rather than fight it.

ANNE (30/40) The loving daughter of Wilfred, and the only person capable of guiding him to acceptance. Anne's compassion and humility is a blessing throughout Wilfred's confusion.

Featured Extras:

SOLDIER/DOCTOR (20/30) A soldier from the Falklands War who returns in Wilfred's scattered memories. A doctor that breaks the bad news to Wilfred. (Both roles to be played one actor)
