The Little West End, a Scottish Borders-based theatre company, is seeking a talented male actor (30-40 age range) to play the lead role of Oliver in their original production, "Unwanted." The play explores themes of love, betrayal, and redemption, set against the backdrop of rural Scotland.

About the Play:

"Unwanted" follows Oliver, a successful conductor and devoted husband to Julian, a celebrated opera singer, as he uncovers the dark secrets of Julian's past. The play is a poignant exploration of the complexities of relationships and the power of healing.

About the Role:

Oliver is a composed, thoughtful, and caring character who is also strong and grounded. He has been in a relationship with Julian since their teenage years. The ideal candidate will have a significant stage presence, be able to command the stage, and speak with a slight Eastern-European accent.

Project Details:

- Location: Biggar Little Festival in October, with potential performances in Edinburgh and across the Borders

- Fee: £100 + profit share per play
