CASTING FOR
HENRY STONE 45 - 55 YEARS OLD MALE
ANY ETHNICITY
Henry, a veteran bus driver struggling with survivors guilt, lives as a stoic, working class representation of the mismanagement of the COVID era in the UK. While working as a bus driver at the height of COVID, Henry slowly saw the toll the pandemic had on his social infrastructure - losing friends, and eventually, his wife. Now, years later with little attempt to process his tragic loss, he makes an attempt to fill the void created by his loneliness by slowly falling down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories and is disillusioned by the prospect of a ghost living in his flat who he believes to be his late wife. In a desperate attempt, he tries to convince it's existence
to his son.

JAMES STONE 20 - 25 YEARS OLD MALE
ANY ETHNICITY
Despite living a life surviving it all, Henry can now only be saved by his lone son - James.
James, burdened by the pressures of university, his job and his father's declining mental state, represents the loss of youth and importance of growing responsibility brought on by COVID for young people. James sorely wants to reconnect with his father and help them both move on from the death of James' mother. James must convince his father to stop looking for the dead and start talking to the living - which is easier said than done.
