Casting for short film “DORIS”.

Logline:
Two teenage boys become intrigued by a mysterious figure they pass daily. When she disappears, their search leads to a deeper truth that isn’t what it seems.

LUKE (16–20)
• Any ethnicity
• Quiet, caring, sensible
• Slight worrier, grounded personality

SAM (16–20)
• Any ethnicity
• Loud, confident, attention-seeking
• Charismatic, slightly cocky

NOTE:
• Both roles must own a bike and be able to transport it to set

GERRY (50+)
• Caucasian male
• Former postman, meticulous, emotionally layered
• Must portray dementia with care and nuance
• Requires physical ability (getting up/down from floor)
