CASTING CALL – SHORT FILM (LONDON)

Description

Casting for a student short film (teen horror inspired by Macbeth).

ROLES:

ELIZABETH (LEAD):
She is an intelligent first year college student who aspires to be the best, but deep down she desires to be loved by all. Based on the character 'Macbeth' in Macbeth, her character explores themes of desire vs fate, control, and self loathing. When she is told she will get everything she desires, even the boy, what length will she go to, to get it?

BEAU (SUPPORTING):
She is a regular first-year college student with the goal to make a handful of friends and pass her courses. Best friend and voice of reason to Elizabeth, Beau is based on the character 'Banquo' from Macbeth. Her character slowly becomes a conflict to Elizabeth as fates are told.

WITCHES (x2):
These witches are unknown - they all wear an animal mask to cover their face, but it's assumed they are students of some form. Based on the 'witches' from Macbeth, they are the cause of Elizabeth's spiraling.
