A fish out of water and everyman adrift. What starts as mild irritation builds into incandescent rage as his new life appears to conspire against him and the urge to curtain twitch takes over.

Part comic and part tragic, Francis is the heart of the film. The sane eyes through which an increasingly strange world is viewed.

CECILLE
Female, late 20s

Well-spoken and able to fit in easily. Cecille hides an inner passion that seeks to shape everything in her image. As Francis struggles to fit in, the grip of the life she has worked so hard to build begins to slip.

NINA
Female, early 40s

The friendly neighbour. All smiles and attention, masking the panic beneath the surface. A curtain twitcher who knows everything about everyone and almost nothing about herself.

ROY
Male, late 40s

A man of contradictions. Barely concealed fury mixed with middle-class sterility leaves Roy pacing on the edge of something darker.
