PRODUCTION
DIONYSIA
A comedy set in 350 BCE in a village outside Athens. Four women gather to celebrate the Festival of Dionysius. It is a time to eat, drink, be merry, and revisit a lifetime of grievances.
LOOKING FOR
CHLOE (she/her)
Playing age 20–25
Ambitious and newly married. She has her sights set on all the influence a craftsman's wife can accrue.
XANTHE (she/her)
Playing age 20–25
A third-generation shepherd caught between her aunt Penelope's expectations and her dreams of travelling the world.
PENELOPE (she/her)
Playing age 50–55
A formidable village matriarch with the presence and force of will of a general, keeping her community firmly in line.
CASSANDRA (she/her)
Playing age 50–55
Strong-willed, outspoken and irreverent. Age and chronic illness have not diminished her spirit.

£200 fee for 1.5 days of work
