CASTING CALL – PLAY REHEARSED READING – BELFAST

PRODUCTION:
Upcoming rehearsed reading with Belfast Playwrights on Monday, 17 August.

PROJECT:
A new play about a group of defiant nuns.

SEEKING:

ROLE 1:
Female presenting actor, 20s/30s, to play a warm, glamorous and deadpan nun.

ROLE 2:
Male presenting actor, any age, to play a vain, sycophantic and "average-looking" Bishop.

ROLE 3:
Female presenting actor, 20s, to play the Bishop's aspirational, curious and no-nonsense personal assistant.

LOCATION:
Belfast, Northern Ireland.

DATES:
• Online read-through during the week commencing 10 August.
• In-person rehearsal on Sunday, 16 August.
• Rehearsed reading on Monday, 17 August.

COMPENSATION:
Unpaid opportunity.

Production offers a supportive cast and director and is aimed at developing the new play.
