Haunted by his best friend's suicide, a young man searches for meaning and closure while struggling with overwhelming grief.

Characteristics: struggles to process emotions, overwhelmed by responsibilities. He's a tryer spiralling downward. Able to show a range of emotions such as anger, fear, surprise & subtle expressions.

PAUL – SUPPORTING ROLE

• Age: 25–35
• Scottish
• Ginger or brunette
• Caucasian or mixed race
• Required for 1 shoot day

Characteristics: Ray's best friend; self-assured yet slightly regretful; resolved in himself. A positive person.

MUM – SUPPORTING ROLE
• Female
• Age: 50–65
• Scottish
• Any hair colour
• Caucasian or mixed race
• Required for a half-day shoot

Characteristics: Ray's mum; loving, still trying to figure out life; tries to provide emotional support, even though he shuts her out.
