PRODUCTION:
Short narrative dance film exploring heritage, language and the meaning of home.

LOG LINE:
The film follows PorPor, who has moved from Singapore to Edinburgh to live with her daughter. As her granddaughter Mei helps her settle into a new home, the pair struggle to communicate due to a language barrier, leading to an exploration of family, identity and belonging.

• Asian performer
• Playing age: 60s and over
• Native Cantonese or Mandarin speaker
• Screen or performance experience preferred but not essential
• Dance experience at any level is a bonus but not essential
