PRODUCTION:
CARE by Alex Keelan
A short play showcase celebrating writers and stories with a Lancaster focus.

SEEKING:
TESS
Female | Playing age 70-80 | Any ethnicity
Frail but fierce, passionate working-class socialist and left-wing activist, exhausted from fighting for change.

KAT
Female | Playing age 20 | Any ethnicity
Exhausted working-class single mother working long hours as a carer on a zero-hours contract. Overwhelmed and slowly going down a reform rabbit hole.

LOCATION:
The Dukes Theatre, Lancaster

REHEARSALS:
Play will rehearse for a maximum of 3 full days, organised around cast availability.

PERFORMANCE DATES:
17th, 18th & 19th September

NOTE:
Production is particularly interested in hearing from actors based in and around Lancaster, as all rehearsals, castings and performances will take place there.
