Socially anxious Anna, joins a book club in an attempt to end her isolation. But surrounded by a group of confident women, her insecurity leads her into a string of lies she can't escape from.

4 female identifying actors

ROLES:
ANNA – female lead, playing age late 20s/early 30s, socially awkward and anxious social media assistant who attends a book club to build confidence and make friends

TIA – first supporting, playing age late 20s/early 30s, lawyer and part of the original book club group

EM – second supporting, playing age early 30s, book club host and confident extrovert who works at an ad agency

SASHA – third supporting, playing age mid 20s, production designer and youngest of the main group with a strong sense of style and originality
