STAGED READING
A 70-minute staged reading of a new original musical currently being developed under the Creatives House Artist Incubator with ACE funding.

LOGLINE
In a tale of redemption, sacrifice and the power of ideas, a transformed man confronts an empire, igniting a cultural revolution that will shape Western society for centuries to come. The musical combines timeless biblical storytelling with an uplifting, rock-inspired soundtrack.

3 male and 1 female musical theatre performers.

PAUL
Male, playing age 20–30, tenor.

ENSEMBLE 1
Male, playing age 20–30, tenor and multi-role.

ENSEMBLE 2
Male, playing age 40–50, baritone and multi-role. Mentor figure character.

ENSEMBLE 3
Female, non-specific playing age, mezzo-soprano and multi-role. Part of Greek chorus.

LOCATION
Manchester. Venue TBC.

REHEARSALS
22nd, 23rd, 26th and 27th October 2026.

STAGED READING
28th October 2026.

COMPENSATION
