Independent retro-inspired horror/sci-fi short film written by D.B. Madden. Set in the 1980s, the project is a proof-of-concept short for a planned feature film adaptation currently in development

LOGLINE
Four young friends go on a camping trip that takes a terrifying turn after a mysterious object crashes deep within the forest, unleashing something far beyond their understanding

ROLES AVAILABLE
DEBBIE
Female, playing age 20–27. Confident, intelligent and strong-willed, with a sharp sense of humour and a warm nature. Requires an actor capable of naturalistic dialogue and emotional depth

SAM
Male, playing age 20–30. Charismatic, easy-going and likeable, masking a deeper sense of responsibility beneath his relaxed exterior. Strong chemistry and believable relationship work required

NIGEL
Male, playing age 20–30. Good-hearted, adventurous and impulsive. His curiosity ultimately drives the group into danger. Looking for a performer with strong screen presence and natural charm

LIZZY
Female, playing age 20–30. Independent, witty and grounded, with quiet confidence and intelligence that anchors the group. Requires a strong dramatic performer
