Abandoned and long forgotten, in its dying moments the room remembers its life, from tragedies to losses and moments of warmth of its owners, to their sudden departure and what happened after, whilst patiently waiting in vain for their return until being lost to the flow of time

STEPHANIE / MOTHER
Female, playing age 50–70
Grey or greying hair. A warm, gentle presence, with expressive features and an underlying sadness

PETER / SON
Male, playing age 18–20
Lean and fit, with tousled brown/black hair and bright, expressive eyes. Youthful, hopeful and determined

FATHER
Male, playing age 40–50
Lean, with thinning grey hair and a tired but warm presence. Appears younger than Stephanie

OFFICER
Male, playing age 30–40
Lean, mature and composed, with quiet authority and sensitivity, sense of empathy
