PROJECT DETAILS
A short fantasy film and video game teaser with a Viking, Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings-inspired atmosphere. Set during Fimbulwinter, immediately before Ragnarök.

LOGLINE
A fantasy story set in the lead-up to Ragnarök, featuring physically and emotionally demanding performances.

LOOKING FOR:
Male actor, playing age 25–45, for the role of THE BLACKSMITH.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
An armoury blacksmith who makes weapons, shields and armour. He is proud of his strength and usefulness, with a coarse manner and little patience for talk. His hands should suggest years of skilled work. Toughness is central to his identity; he hates the thought of anyone seeing him differently, but inside he is scared and resents being seen afraid.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Preferably short in height, with a sturdy or burly build
- Actors up to 5'5" will be considered
- Convincing physical strength and skilled hands
- A blunt, lived-in voice
- Ability to convey pride, defensive anger and precise silent reactions
- Must communicate hidden shame while trying to conceal it

Wig, facial hair and possibly prosthetics may be required.

LOCATION
Slovenia. A valid passport is required.
