Stella is outwardly tough and no-nonsense, but can pivot into vulnerability and warmth when she feels safe. She has a dry wit that cuts through, often with a throwaway line. Stella conveys so much through small moments - the eye roll, the tired smile, the sudden softening.
CALEB (SON)
Playing Age: 9-11, Ethnicity: Any
Caleb is always moving around and has a restless energy that gets him in trouble. He’s got that unpolished charm - cheeky, a bit mouthy but deeply loyal and loving when he lets his guard down. Caleb’s funny and frustrating in equal measure but he can also melt your heart.
ELLIE (DAUGHTER)
Playing Age: 13-15, Ethnicity: Any
Ellie is reliable, grounded and often the quiet support system for her mum without complaint beneath her maturity. She’s still a 14yr old navigating identity, confidence and belonging. She’s currently experimenting with loud, colourful make-up that doesn’t necessarily ‘work’ but love her for it.
