Project Synopsis:

The Unexpected Voyage is a character-driven feature film set in a near-future where an estranged couple is unexpectedly launched into a Mars colonisation mission alongside an AI named AVA. Trapped together in a confined spacecraft, they must confront their emotional history, mounting tension and the isolating vastness of space.

About Gareth:

Gareth is cerebral, emotionally guarded and quietly intense. Once full of purpose, he’s now burdened by personal failures and disconnection. As the mission unfolds, so does a complex emotional reckoning with the woman he once loved.

Actor must be comfortable with emotionally layered scenes, confined set environments, and must deliver a natural, convincing Scottish accent.
