Casting for an updated tour of the children’s theatre show The Dinosaur That Pooped a Rock Show, based on the popular books by Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter.

The show is written and directed by Miranda Larson with songs and music by Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Barrie Bignold. Produced by Mark Thompson at MT Productions.

Production dates:
— Auditions: 24th November 2025
— Rehearsals: 12th–22nd January 2026 (London)
— Tour dates: January–November 2026 (currently 91 dates and counting)

Production location: Greater London

Role: Costume character / skin artist to play Dino. The artist will need to operate Dino’s mouth, hands and head, bringing the character to life. Duties include joining in dance moves and routines while inside the costume. Height requirement: 5'6"–5'10". Previous skin/costume character experience is essential.


The successful applicant must hold a full UK driving licence and be comfortable driving the touring van on a shared basis with the company.

Fees:
— Rehearsal fee: £550 pw
— Show day fee: £150
— Travel day fee: £50
— Subsistence: £20
