Description

Set and filmed in England, the story centres around a writer and a mysterious painting. Filming will take place in Essex & London, between end-July and August 2026.
Applicants must be based in England and able to travel to Essex and London with relative ease.

SIMON

A modest author with writer’s block who becomes unexpectedly involved in cleaning crime scenes. Observant, slightly reserved but confident, with dry wit. Lead role.

THE GIRL WITH BLUE EYES
• Gender: Female
• Playing Age: 18–25+
• Ethnicity: Any
A girl who steps out of a painting into the real world. She does not know who or what she is; her first day begins the moment she arrives. Central to the story alongside Simon. Lead role.

ZEKE
• Gender: Male
• Playing Age: 20–30
• Ethnicity: Any
A fast-talking graffiti artist. Rough around the edges, street-smart. Strong supporting role.

ARCHER
• Gender: Male
• Age: 30–50
• Ethnicity: Any
A silent, serious ex-SAS operative with no sense of humour. The epitome of a “tough guy” whose tone and expression rarely change. Strong supporting role.

THE PROPHET
• Gender: Male
• Age: 30–60+
• Ethnicity: Black
A wise man and street philosopher. Information is his power, and people eventually come to him. Supporting role.
