Description

Student Short Film: Still Waters Run Deep
Synopsis:

After convincing herself that her sister’s death was an accident, Grace is forced to confront the truth when her younger sister begins to visit her in her dreams.

Roles:
Grace – Main Character
— Female, 18+ (preferably dark hair)
Grace is easily irritated and isolated. She is not well liked and often sarcastic, even in serious situations.

Kath – Grace’s Mother (Supporting Role)
— Female, 20+ (older preferred, preferably natural hair)
Kath is judgemental and has a strained relationship with her daughter. She is conservative and struggles with alcoholism.

David – Grace’s Boyfriend (Supporting Role)
— Male, 18+ (any hair colour)
David is emotionally stable and does his best to support Grace. He is kind and well intentioned, though sometimes unintentionally inconsiderate.
