Based on the Tryweryn flooding. Capel Celyn follows the events leading up to Liverpool's drowning of a village in Wales and the forced eviction of it's villagers. The story. set entirely in a living room, follows a husband & wife as they try to navigate an unwinnable fight to save their home

Rational, composed and gentle, Arianwen is determined to save her hometown of Capel Celyn. She and her husband (Osian) are fiercely in love but the overwhelming actions of Liverpool and Westminster weigh heavily on them. She keeps a brave face as the fight to save their village becomes more and more desperate
