Students from BIMM MetFilm Brighton are casting for the upcoming graduation short film “Her Eyes Only”. Passionate and reliable performers are sought, ideally Brighton-based or able to travel.

— STORYLINE

“Her Eyes Only” follows Vera Galea, a woman with an unusual side hustle: blackmail. By day she is invisible; by night she becomes an anonymous vigilante, using her unique skills to expose predators on behalf of those they have wronged. Disguising herself on each of her ‘dates’, she escapes from her own past — a humiliating betrayal by her ex-boyfriend that destroyed her life.

When a target recognises her from that very scandal, Vera’s carefully constructed world begins to unravel. Forced to confront the trauma that fuels her cause, she spirals between empowerment and self-destruction, blurring the line between justice and obsession.

Vera Galea (Early 20s)
A deeply morally grey woman. Ruthless and driven by revenge. Effortlessly magnetic, calculated and sharp. Intimidating as she moves through multiple disguises on each date, yet still deeply affected by her past, trapped in a cycle of blackmail and fear.

James (Early 20s)
A typical rugby lad, leaning towards arrogance.

Jack (Early 20s)
Vera’s ex-boyfriend. Desperate to win her back. Persistent, manipulative and slimy.

Mickey (Early 20s)
Slim, tattooed and painfully vain.
