Description

Title: Don’t Forget the Butter
University of Greenwich – Second Year Project
Duration: 7–9 minutes

Synopsis:
A man sets out to complete the next task on a bucket list: finding the best toast topping. As the story unfolds, it is revealed that the list belonged to his late girlfriend, who passed suddenly and unexpectedly. Completing the list becomes his way of honouring her memory and processing his grief.

Roles Available

Character 1
Male – 20–25
- White
- Quiet, slightly awkward but charming (Wes Anderson–style tone)
- Earthy colour palette
- Role involves eating various foods
- Must have no food allergies or intolerances


Character 2
Female – 20–25
- Any ethnicity
- Quirky, bubbly, and happy to push herself outside her comfort zone


Character 3
Male – 20–25
- Any ethnicity
- Unseen character, heard via phone call
- Very common London accent
- Voice of reason


Filming Details

Location: East London (end of the District line)

Filming period: Late February – early March 2026

w/c 23rd February – w/c 2nd March (exact dates TBC)


Note:

Applicants must be able to travel to East London

Character 3 will need to travel to Greenwich instead (dates TBC)
