Terrence Higgins Trust Campaign – Casting for Film & Photography Shoot

A new awareness campaign is being produced to encourage individuals who have stopped HIV treatment to re-engage with healthcare services. The campaign will run across social media, digital platforms, clinics, GP surgeries and outdoor advertising (including bus stops).

Shoot Date
Friday, 13th March 2026
(Location: Sydenham, London – house location booked, travel covered)

Casting Requirements (6–8 people total)
• Black African woman (20–35)
• Black African man (20–35)
• White gay woman (50s)
• Scottish man (30–40) – native accent required
• Young gay man – club/scene presence
• Man or woman (40s) with a weathered look to portray addiction history

Project Style
Photography: Portraits — direct to camera.
Film: Natural lifestyle moments (cooking, walking, shopping, etc.) followed by a short to-camera line such as:
“I went back to the doctor because I didn’t want to get sick.”
or
“I’m so glad I went back to the clinic — I’ve got peace of mind.”

Important Note
This is an acting/modeling job on a sensitive subject. Campaign materials will not state “posed by actors,” so applicants must be fully comfortable being publicly featured and understand the long-term campaign usage.

Working with an established photographer and experienced production company — strong portfolio/showreel value.
