Diaspora

Set in 1970s Britain, Diaspora follows a newly migrated Cypriot man applying for a British passport. During a routine passport photo session, an unexpected connection forms between him and a Balkan photographer, bringing up memories of home, identity, and the quiet grief of leaving one’s homeland.

The roles appear in a brief but meaningful family flashback scene.

Casting Notes

Actors or community members with Cypriot, Turkish or Balkan heritage are especially encouraged to apply, though the production is open to all.

Acting experience is welcome but not required.
