A talented but overlooked young chef is stuck working in her dysfunctional family’s failing café until her former rival, an elite chef, re-enters her life.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Sharp, scrappy, and instinctively talented. A self-taught chef with raw ability but little formal training. Quick-witted, stubborn, emotionally guarded, and fiercely determined to prove herself.

REQUIREMENTS
• Comfortable handling food, knives, and basic food preparation
• Able to convey improvisation and creativity while cooking
• Real-life cooking experience is highly desirable, whether as a home cook, food enthusiast, or professional
• Must feel believable as someone who learned through experience rather than formal training

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Actors must be comfortable portraying same-sex relationships.

Production is seeking strong chemistry between the lead characters. Actors comfortable with this material, including LGBTQIA+ performers, are preferred.
