After his girlfriend leaves him, a man becomes obsessed with tracking down a stolen necklace, believing it will fix his life. He moves through a journey of unusual encounters with strangers while avoiding the true reason everything fell apart.

SCHMITT STAFFORD
male, early 20s, any accent
socially awkward, immature and emotionally avoidant. His life and appearance are dishevelled. Throughout the story he fixates on solving external and unimportant problems to avoid confronting his internal ones. Following the breakdown of a four-year relationship, he struggles to understand his role in its collapse.
