ABOUT THE PLAY:
A drama set in the high-stakes world of professional cycling, where a rising young rider is seduced by the promise of EPO-fuelled glory and discovers how far a team will go to win.

ROLES AVAILABLE:
DAVID
• Male
• Playing age: Late teens to early 20s
• Naïve young rider in his first season with the team
• Idealistic and unaware of the realities of professional cycling

LAWRENCE
• Male
• Playing age: Early 20s to mid-30s
• Team leader
• Experienced, hard-bitten and intimidating
• A bully with vulnerability beneath the surface
• Desperate for success

FRED
• Male
• Playing age: Early 20s to mid-30s
• Lawrence's loyal lieutenant
• Long-time team member
• Easily led

CRAIG
• Male
• Playing age: 20s
• Happy-go-lucky
• Believes natural talent alone will carry him

CIARA
• Female
• Playing age: 20s to 40s
• Team physiotherapist
• Sympathetic and emotionally intelligent
• Prepared to do whatever it takes to help the team win

• Also performing at The Actors in Brighton

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• Some doubling of roles may be required.
• Rehearsals will be held in and around Brighton.
• This is a profit-share production.
• Auditions will be held at the Ropetackle Centre in Shoreham.
