PRODUCTION:
Rooftop Revolution – Lambeth Fringe 2026

ABOUT THE SHOW:
Two men escaped from the city. A schoolgirl with nowhere else to go. On a forgotten rooftop above London, three strangers create a small world of their own. It's a place to breathe, dream, and believe that another future might still be possible. As reality closes in, they begin to imagine the impossible: not an escape from the city, but a future beyond it.

LOOKING FOR:
THE ARTIST
Male, early 30s, all ethnicities.
An artist whose distinctive style has left him overlooked and unappreciated. Rejected by the world around him, he gradually begins turning away from it before it can reject him again.

THE UNEMPLOYED MAN
Male, 27–29 years, all ethnicities.
A man in his late twenties who has faithfully followed the path society told him was the "right" one. He admires the city and the people who seem to have found their place within its fast-moving rhythm.

THE SCHOOL GIRL
Female, 17–18 years, all ethnicities.
A spirited and determined teenager who dreams of challenging society's expectations. She hopes to become a pilot, inspired by a simple longing to one day fly through the sky herself.

PERFORMER REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong emotional honesty and vulnerability
• Good comedic timing and adaptability
• Interest in devised, physical and ensemble-driven work
• Actors from all backgrounds, ethnicities and experience levels are highly encouraged to apply.

London

PERFORMANCE DATES:
2nd week of October 2026

REHEARSALS:
TBC, beginning from mid-August with a minimum of 12 sessions.

COMPENSATION:
All roles paid – £150 flat fee.
