A new theatre production inspired by the Scottish poem Tam o’Shanter and Caribbean folktales
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Join best friends Omi, Callum and Tandy on a road trip meant to hide Callum’s secret. But he’s not the only one hiding something. As they try to outrun the claws of their past, the young Trans friends tackle generational struggles in a world where fairytale comes to life
ROLES:
CALLUM — playing age 21+
Trans person of Scottish/Irish/Welsh heritage, with an accent from these locations.
Physically disabled and non-Black. Ignorant, middle-class friend struggling with his relationship with his abusive mother and how his racial ignorance affects his friends. Demon twink
OMI — playing age 21+
Transmasculine Black Afro/Caribbean actor. Overprotective and over-organised, balancing identity and culture while hiding his attraction for Callum and looking out for long-term friend Tandy
