ABOUT:
Candy Kane is a gritty independent British horror film set in 2015. The story follows Millie, a young escort who travels across the country to meet Russell Hobbs, a seemingly ordinary lorry driver hiding horrifying intentions. When Millie suddenly stops answering her phone, her best friend Tesha sets out to find her. The film combines a tense road thriller, psychological horror and brutal slasher elements, grounded in a realistic modern Britain.

SEEKING:
Actors aged 18 and over for lead and supporting roles.

MILLIE:
Female, playing age 20–26. Confident, funny and street-smart, but hiding a vulnerable side. Millie refuses to be treated like a victim and must carry much of the film emotionally.

TESHA:
Female, playing age 20–28. Millie's loyal best friend, secretly in love with her. Determined, warm and courageous, Tesha risks everything to find Millie.

RUSSELL HOBBS:
Male, playing age 32–42. A British lorry driver who initially appears quiet, polite and unremarkable. Beneath the surface, Russell is calculating, controlling and terrifying. Requires a strong dramatic performance rather than an exaggerated horror villain.

SUPPORTING ROLES:
Service-station employees, police officers, lorry drivers, escorts and friends of Millie, pub customers, and victims featured in the opening sequence.

LOCATION:
Bristol and surrounding areas.

SHOOT DATES:

COMPENSATION:
Non-paid.

The film contains strong horror, violence, threatening situations and mature themes connected to sex work. Any sensitive material will be discussed clearly before casting. No performer will be expected to take part in explicit sexual activity.
