CASTING CALL – KING LEAR THEATRE PRODUCTION

PRODUCTION
An adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic, set within the kingdom of Ireland.

SEEKING:
KING LEAR
Male-identifying, playing age 50+

REGAN
Female-identifying, playing age 30–40

CORDELIA
Female-identifying, playing age 20–30

CRITERIA
All roles will be performed in a Southern Irish accent.

All roles require physical work and movement work.

Ability to work within an ensemble.

Availability throughout March 2027 for performance dates.

AUDITIONS
Auditions will take place on 18 October 2026.

REHEARSALS
Rehearsals begin in January 2027.

PERFORMANCE
King Lear will be performed at numerous venues throughout Northern Ireland during March 2027.
