LOGLINE
Inside a cloistered house where obedience is survival, a young woman begins to unravel the quiet terror stitched into every thread of her world

LOOKING FOR:
Northern and Midlands talent aged 18 and over for both female and male roles

ROLE
Melissa — female, playing age 20–25. Northern/Midlands accent and must be based in this area. Natural appearance with no cosmetics or piercings. A leading role: quiet, observant and in the ilk of June from The Handmaid’s Tale

The Master — male, playing age 50–60. Northern/Midlands accent and must be based in this area. Natural appearance with no cosmetics or piercings, above 5ft 11. A dark, authoritative role and cult leader

Lucinda — female, playing age 16–18, but must be 18 to play the role due to subject matter. Northern/Midlands accent and must be based in this area. Natural appearance with no cosmetics or piercings. An obedient, naive woman, young in personality

Janet — female, playing age 30–35. Northern/Midlands accent and must be based in this area. Natural appearance with no cosmetics or piercings. Unlocks the reason behind why Melissa’s world starts to unravel. This role involves suicide and heavy emotional trauma related to childbirth

Martha — female, playing age 60s. Northern/Midlands accent and must be based in this area. Natural appearance with no cosmetics or piercings. The head of the women in the household, God-loving and consciously strict

Charlene — female, playing age 40s. Northern/Midlands accent and must be based in this area. Natural appearance with no cosmetics or piercings. Follows in Martha’s shoes, with a sharper tongue
