LOGLINE
54-46 is about our relationship to space and humanity, and what happens to the buildings, people and memories we leave behind

LOOKING FOR:
Three actors for a physical performance who can switch between different roles quickly and believably

ROLE
POR / FOZIA / BETH

Female identifying, aged 20s–30s. The production is looking for a non-white actor, but welcomes actors of all nationalities and ethnicities. Particularly interested in actors who can speak more than one language.

POR
A blunt, stubborn and devoted mother to her baby son. Trusts only her brother, Mal.

FOZIA
A nine-year-old girl who was not born in England. Innocent despite most likely witnessing horrors. Admires Chris from afar.

BETH
Cheeky, flirty, incredibly charismatic and full of wit despite her current situation. An instant connection with Davey.

ROLE
CHRIS / DAVEY / MAL

Male identifying, White British, aged 20s–30s. Must be able to switch between different roles quickly and believably.

CHRIS
A guarded man on camp. Seemingly stoic with little words, but with vulnerability underneath.

DAVEY
Initially shy and reserved. Feels stuck in his hometown and wants more but lacks ambition and drive.

MAL
Warm-hearted in nature. Trying his best and protective over his sister, Por.

ROLE
AIR

Any age, gender or ethnicity. Must be able to switch between different roles quickly and believably. A very physical performance.

Air is the narrator: constant and omnipresent. The form is still being explored. Particularly interested in actors with experience in puppetry.
