The film explores friendship, connection and suicide prevention, and centres around a phone conversation between two close friends, Tom and Mia, after Mia sends him a pre-arranged message asking if he has eight minutes to talk

A strong naturalistic male actor aged 25-35

ROLE
Tom
He is warm, likeable and easy to trust. He’s a normal mate trying to support someone he cares about, but he doesn’t always know the right thing to say

The actor should be able to bring warmth, subtle humour, vulnerability and believable listening/reaction work
