CASTING CALL – HORROR SHORT FILM

PROJECT
Small independent short film.
Looking for 4 speaking characters and extras for an independent horror short film based in Hertfordshire.

LOOKING FOR:
ELEANOR
Female, early 20s.
A shy girl who lacks confidence but hides a dark secret. Must be able to portray shyness and anger/aggression well.
Ethnicity: White/European
Eastern European accent/dialect.

CALLUM
Male, early 20s
The lead character, who feels a bit lost and down on his luck. He is immediately smitten when Eleanor starts at his place of work.

BRANDON
Male, 25–30
Callum’s colleague and friend. Carefree and a bit of a player, but he does care and looks out for his friends.

MANAGER
Male or female.
Callum, Brandon and Eleanor’s boss. Down to earth and understanding of their young staff.

EXTRAS
Additional extras are also required.

Previous acting experience is not essential.

LOCATION
Hertfordshire, with filming in and around the area. Travel expenses will be covered when filming.

AUDITIONS
In-person auditions will take place in Hertford, Hertfordshire during November and December 2026.

SHOOT DATES
Filming is planned for January, February and March 2027.
