ABOUT:
A large, one-night immersive private party themed around POWER — power as control and power as freedom. The story follows an evil plan that will affect everyone on the planet, with characters belonging either to the tribe responsible for the plan or the tribe determined to stop it.

LOOKING FOR:
Performers with a background in immersive theatre who are creative, brilliantly improvisational, upbeat, positive and confident interacting with a party crowd in character.

CHARACTER DETAILS:
The Resistance roles include strategic, physical and highly interactive characters such as the Commander, Munitions Expert, Anarchist, Mata Hari, Cat Burglar, Hacker and intelligence-gathering attendants.

The Super Villains are huge personalities with status, wit and presence - glamorous, dangerous and powerful, but grounded in reality rather than one-dimensional caricatures.

The Trustees are Sorenson's senior team: smart, ambitious, morally bankrupt colleagues who have helped build his empire and are enjoying their victory lap.

Security performers should have strong improvisation skills, physical command and, ideally, stage combat or stunt experience.

GENERAL CAST SKILLS:
Excellent improv and great physicality.

OTHER SKILLS:
Guitar, acro, stage fighting. Dance/movement, gymnastics, acrobatics, calisthenics and technical skills may also be relevant to specific roles.

PERFORMANCE:
Cast will embody the spirit of their tribe and keep all interactions in character. Guests will participate in light tasks through to more in-depth missions. Performers are asked to stay for the first part of the after-party to get the dance floor moving.

PRODUCTION DATES:
6th November — tech + dress rehearsal, estimated 11am–11pm.
7th November — live event, estimated 12pm–midnight.

REHEARSALS:
5–7 rehearsal days per cast member across the weeks commencing 26th October and 2nd November.
Rehearsals are expected to run 10am–5pm, subject to slight change.
Possible filming for some characters, dates TBC.

LOCATION:
Greater London, England, United Kingdom.

CASTING:
In-person casting in Greater London.
Monday 28th September - Resistance, Marcus, Duncan and Trustees.
Tuesday 29th September - Security and Villains.
9:45am–11:30am - group workshop casting process involving movement and improv.
Recalls will include a monologue to prepare.

REQUIREMENTS:
Local hire within the M25 preferred. Travel and accommodation cannot be offered during the rehearsal period, although a travel allowance will be provided where rehearsals finish after midnight.

Performers must provide their own lunch during rehearsals. Food will be provided on the show day unless otherwise specified.

Costume fitting will ideally take place at the rehearsal space but may involve travel to a central London location.

CONTRACT:
Non-union - commercially financed.
Performer Engagement Agreement & Private Client NDA.

FEES:
£175 per day for studio rehearsals.
£300 for tech/dress rehearsal.
£400 for the live event.
