ABOUT:
A 1-minute visual dialogue comedy short from Screen Academy Scotland / Edinburgh Napier University. The story follows an eccentric street painter in a park who turns out to be an actor rehearsing on a film set.

LOOKING FOR:
STEVE – THE STREET PAINTER
Male, 20s–30s
Earnest, slightly eccentric actor playing an artist. Beret and paint-splattered smock. Great comedic timing with deadpan and expressive reactions.

DAVEY – THE PASSER-BY
Open to younger or older casting.

Younger: Streetwise, confident "Ned" vibe. Tracksuit, over-ear headphones and mobile phone. Abrasive, blunt and misses social cues.

Older: Oblivious, well-meaning and slightly clueless older gentleman. Glasses, sweater vest or tweed and walking stick.

SUPPORTING ARTISTS – FAKE FILM CREW
3 roles: Director, Camera Operator and Boom Operator. Any gender or age. Featured in the comedy twist reveal at the end of the scene.
