CASTING CALL – WHEN BOYS DON’T TALK ABOUT SEX

Description

The original series is returning for its conclusion, set 5 years later. The production is looking to build on its current characters with new cast members.

LOOKING FOR:
NIA
Female, playing age 20–24. Bold, funny, sharp and independent. A trainee accountant who knows what she wants from a night and says so. Great comic timing and the ability to hold a silence.

Role involves simulated sex and implied nudity. Intimacy coordinator on set.

SHANE
Black male, playing age 45–55. Tall, charismatic, crude and used to running the room. He left his family years ago and makes up for it through money, favours and big gestures. Needs charm, menace and strong comic timing.

LENA
Female, playing age 35–40. A single mum and nurse on nights, raising her 14-year-old son alone. Warm, funny, self-deprecating, honest and quietly strong.

Role involves simulated sex and implied nudity. Intimacy coordinator on set.

MILO
Male, age 14–16. Lena’s son. Cheeky, quick with a roast and protective of his mum. Natural comic timing with real vulnerability underneath. Role deals with online exploitation.
