One family. Four stories. One day that changes everything.

FOUR explores the fragile, complicated and often chaotic nature of family. Across three nights, the audience is invited to see the same story from three different perspectives, with each story revealing something the others leave behind. But there is always one story missing — the fourth.

Through chance, memory, humour and heartbreak, FOUR asks how well we can ever really know the people we love.

LOOKING FOR:

ROBERT
Male, playing age 40s–50s
Warm, grounded father with emotional depth, strong storytelling skills and an interest in physical/non-naturalistic theatre.

ISEABAIL
Female, playing age 40s–50s
Protective, fiercely loving mother requiring emotional range, vulnerability and strong audience connection.

ANGUS
Male, playing age 18–25
Intelligent, protective brother requiring emotional honesty, warmth and vulnerability. This character experiences mental health through the show.

ENSEMBLE 1
Male, playing age 18+
Strong physical and character actor, confident with multi-rolling and transforming between different characters.

ENSEMBLE 2
Any gender, playing age 18+
Versatile performer with strong physical/vocal skills, confident with multi-rolling and collaborative ensemble work.

REHEARSALS:
Beginning mid-November 2026, working around performers' availability.

PERFORMANCES:
4th, 5th and 6th February 2027

LOCATION:
The Hope Street Theatre, Liverpool

COMPENSATION:
