Description

A modern adaptation of the final scenes of Hamlet, exploring betrayal, survival and what it means to be human.

In the moments leading up to a fight, a young man learns he is at risk of betrayal. He debates whether it is more human to fight for his survival, or to accept his fate.

LOOKING FOR:
3 Males, 18-25

DEAN
Male. Angry, brave and restless, yet naturally philosophical. He fights to survive rather than for the thrill of violence.

BLUE
Male. Dean’s best friend and his opposite. Calm and stoic, with a deep sense of care for his friend.

WILLIAM
Male. Erratic and unpredictable, with a menacing presence. The kind of person who would bring a knife to a fist fight.

EXTRAS
Additional performers are needed. Specific requirements are not provided.

LOCATION
Filming in Elephant & Castle and rehearsals in south london

SHOOTING DATES
One main filming day during the week commencing 9 November 2026.

REHEARSALS
During the weeks before filming.

COMPENSATION
Unpaid. Travel and food costs will be covered during shoots and rehearsals.
