The roles are as follows;

Mo - Male 12 -16 years of age. All welcome to apply
Context of this role - he has just conceded a penalty and feels he has let everyone down — not just his team, but his dad, himself, maybe even his fractured family life.

Barry - Male 13 -15 years of age. All welcome to apply.
Context of this role - Heartbroken romantic. Barry has just experienced his first breakup. It feels seismic. He doesn’t yet know what kind of man he will become in moments like this.

Mum 35 - 50 years of age and son 12 - 15 years of age, all welcome to apply.
For this role we are looking for a genuine mother and child. In the scene we see the Mum giving her Son a piece of advice.

Coach - male 30 - 55 years of age all welcome to apply.
For this role the coach should feel like a real grassroots coach. Have a bit of grit about him. Be commanding. The type of person young lads looks up and listen too. If possible, a real coach would be great.

Toxic influencer - 30 - 45 years of age, all welcome to apply.
For this role you should be "polished. Charismatic. Slightly hollow". He addresses camera directly at the top of the film giving reductive advice about masculinity. Important: Not cartoon villain. Must feel believable and contemporary.

School disco boys - male aged between 12 - 15 all welcome to apply.
For this role you will be genuine friends.

The hooded lads - Male 13 - 17 years of age. All welcome to apply.
Strong regional representation encouraged. They initially feel ominous but are revealed as loyal friends gathering to support their mate. We want a group of mates with:
Natural chemistry.
Real friendship energy.
Authentic estate / grassroots energy.
No caricatures.

Girlfriends - 13 -17 years of age all welcome to apply
Strong regional representation encouraged all friends as the hooded lads above.
