Main Role
Bipolar

This character represents the personified physical form of Her’s imagination. They interact with her directly and often cause mischief, tempting her to do the opposite of what she normally wants while acting as though they know better.
The character is unpredictable, quick-changing, and emotionally reactive to their surroundings. They should appear eccentric and attention-grabbing from the moment they enter the screen.

Synopsis
Aberration follows a young man named Elliot who discovers he has the ability to travel back into old Polaroid photos. Through this cosmic gift, he begins to learn more about himself on the night of his secondary school prom and reflects on his relationship with his best friend Aidan, who passed away shortly after that night. The film explores themes of grief and identity.
Roles
Elliot
Late teens / early 20s (playing late teen)
Elliot is a passive character who never quite fit traditional expectations of masculinity. After the death of his best friend Aidan, his life begins to unravel. His friendships fade, his relationship with his mother becomes strained, and as the people around him move forward in life, he becomes increasingly isolated and alienated.
Aidan
Late teens / early 20s (playing late teen)
Aidan was a popular student who belonged to a traditionally masculine friend group. He became close to Elliot later in school and their friendship quickly grew very strong. As their bond deepened, Aidan began to realise he had romantic feelings for Elliot, but he struggled to confront these emotions and eventually pushed Elliot away. Shortly after, Aidan died in a late-night cycling accident before reaching the age of 18.

Casting "Waiting Room", a short film. Three siblings come to a hospital because they have been told that their dad is going in for an emergency surgery that could lead to him losing his life. Whilst in the waiting room, there is a tension that hangs above all of them, of something unsaid about past abuse.
Roles:
Willow (26-30)
Outgoing and vibrant, but there’s far more going on beneath the surface. She’s a contradiction: at times she seems unable to read the room, yet she has a deep, almost instinctive understanding of what others are feeling. This raises the question - why can she see everyone else so clearly, but not herself?
Olivia (27-32)
The matriarch of the family. She isn’t Willow and Lucas’s mother, but they both look up to her as if she were. She carries quiet authority, and with it, the weight of responsibility - she has always been the one forced to make the hard decisions. She may have sensed that Willow and Lucas were carrying something, but she never knew the full truth until now.
Shoots 27th-29th March in Salford/Manchester, TBA.
PLEASE NOTE: These are unpaid roles! Showreel footage provided, will be submitted to film festivals and travel expenses will be paid.
