PAID OPPORTUNITY!
After a successful run at the Biggar Little Festival, Little West End in association with On Red Production is now venturing into the world of indie film with UNWANTED.
ABOUT THE FILM
Oliver's seemingly perfect life unravels when he accompanies his husband, Julian, a celebrated opera singer, to a gala concert in the haunting landscapes of rural Scotland. What should have been a romantic and celebratory occasion quickly descends into emotional awakening as Oliver uncovers the hidden truths of Julian's past, exposing a tapestry of manipulation and deceit beneath his glamorous façade.
The unexpected reappearance of Julian's estranged mother, Rose, thrusts Oliver into a heartbreaking confrontation with betrayal and loss, forcing him to grapple with the painful truths of love and abandonment.
As whispers of the past linger ominously, Oliver's world shatters under the weight of Julian's complex history. As he navigates feelings of betrayal and strives to comprehend the depth of Julian's character, Oliver must face the reality of a relationship built on deception, revealing the profound scars that bind them.
“Unwanted” is a tragic exploration of redemption amid the shadows of betrayal and the remarkable strength of healing our deepest wounds, capturing the fragility of love and the sorrow that often accompanies the quest for understanding.
ABOUT OLIVER
Oliver, a successful conductor and the lead of the film, is a devoted husband to Julian and a steady presence in his life. He is composed, thoughtful, caring and supportive. The two have been together since their teenage years. Oliver is kind but also strong and grounded, with a depth and complexity that will challenge and intrigue any performer.
