Synopsis
The Therapist is a short psychological drama about the ins and outs of being a prison therapist. We watch as Clara interviews the darker side of humanity, and how every day is a struggle for these individuals.
Clara
A seasoned prison therapist, Clara spends her days trying to keep composure during conversations with high security prisoners. Shes soft spoken and empathetic. Applicants must be between 30-50, female.
Alex
Alex is a stone cold prisoner who has no regard formClara wellbeing. Hes calculated and manipulative. Actors must be between 30-50, acting with the eyes is key for this role.
This is an unpaid opportunity, however food and travel will be covered. Actors from in and around Manchester prefered. Shooting dates are between 3rd and 5th of November.

A genuine parent whose child has found online success: A real parent whose child has achieved notable online success, like a creator, gamer, or through a viral video. We’re interested in authentic families exploring this digital landscape. (only the parent would be featured)
Parent on Pick-Up Duty: A real parent who often collects their teen late at night from activities. This person should embody patience, humour, and care as the family’s unofficial taxi service. (only the parent would be featured)
Parent & Competitive Siblings (Aged 10-14): A real parent with two kids (could be twins) who are naturally competitive. They might bicker over controllers or Netflix. We want someone who handles it with patience and humour. (parent and kids would be featured)

Casting for Ed Morris, the lead role in The Stuntman — a 3-minute period drama made as part of a final year at UWE Bristol.
The film will be shot in Bristol on 11th & 12th November 2025. This is a student production (unpaid, with travel expenses covered) and will be shown at our university showcase and submitted to film festivals.
Story: Set in 1920s Wiltshire, The Stuntman follows Ed Morris, a small-town silent cinema owner fighting to keep his theatre alive as the arrival of sound threatens to change film forever. Determined to save his livelihood, he stages one final ambitious stunt — a warm yet bittersweet story about passion, creativity, and the struggle against inevitable change.
Role: Ed Morris (Lead, 28) Charming, intelligent, and hardworking. Outwardly confident, but quietly desperate as he clings to his dream of preserving silent cinema. Must have strong screen presence and emotional depth.

Location: Glasgow Caledonian University Studio
Compensation: Unpaid (credited role, studio-quality voice reel material, flexible schedule, and potential for future episodes)
Producing a pilot episode of a new Scottish audio drama called Grassroots — a gritty, hilarious story set in Glasgow’s amateur football scene. Think Still Game meets The Inbetweeners.
Recording will take place in the professional studio at GCU, and Scottish voice actors are required to bring the characters to life.
