Looking for two male-identifying people to play the role of Felix and Ed. Shooting in Brighton on the week commencing March 13th.

These will be paid roles

Felix (Early 20s)

• Felix uses (He/They) pronouns

• He’s recently started an art degree but has to have a part-time job to keep afloat he lives in Brighton, rent isn’t cheap – and we’re in a cost-of-living crisis.

• They’re a bit of a loner, not by choice, but struggles with social situations. He also doesn’t really have time for many social events. He tends to follow the crowd in order to fit in.

• Felix is in the early stages of disordered eating – he’s not yet aware of his patterns being a problem. It’s only when he meets Ed that he recognises his struggles.

• It does not matter what Felix weighs or looks like. We want to portray the fact that eating disorders can affect anyone.

Ed (Early 20s)

Ed uses He/Him Pronouns.

He’s recently moved in with Felix, and nobody is really sure where he came from, why he’s moved in with Felixor what he’s doing with himself whilst he’s there. He just appeared one day.

Ed is very mysterious, and he distracts from the fact nobody knows anything about his life by focusing on helping those around him. He doesn’t want Felix to know anything about him.

He’s very controlling but shows this by appearing to be a good friend to Felix. He just wants what he thinks is best for Felix.

Ed has a looming presence – he’s always there, wherever Felix looks, which is nice, but overbearing.

Ed is not real. He is the physical manifestation of Felix’s eating disorder.
