“Cerebral, tense and hilarious, the new play from award-winning writer Tess Humphrey, sees an Irish Mancunian family terrorised in their home by a mysterious force. Eerie messages appear scrawled around the house, notes drift from an untouched piano, and 13-year-old Joyce watches as her family are taken over by bizarre alter-egos. Can an eccentric medium and a sceptical journalist unravel the origin of The Guildford Poltergeist?”
*Father White: a Catholic priest. An impressive and initially compassionate man, he also has a dark and controlling streak. Playing age 35 – 70. Some physical acting required. Currently pays £50 per performance, £300 total, although more funding is being sought.
