Looking for London based actors to bring this exciting new play to life.

Cianalas will be performed at The King’s Head Theatre on the 30th & 31st of July. Actors must have good availability throughout July.

SEAMUS

50s, male/non-binary. A farmer, stubborn, born and raised in the highlands and wants it to stay that way, unwilling to believe that things are changing, incredibly protective of his daughter, Una. Scottish accent required.

AILIG

40s, male/non-binary. A farmer, free spirit, doesn’t want to be confined to one space, brute strength, a joker. Scottish accent required.

GEORGE

30s, male/non-binary. A soldier, gentle, earnest, is determined to be a good man and make the right decisions. British accent required.

WALTER

20s, male/non-binary. A soldier, self- proclaimed lone wolf, sarcastic, street smart, will do whatever it takes to survive, puts himself first. British accent required 
SEÒNAID
Teens (real age must be 18+), female/non- binary. Cheeky, full of life, fries to appear more grown up than she is, wants to be involved in things like the other women are. Scottish accent required.

CIORSTAIDH

Late 20s/30s, female/non-binary. Glass half empty outlook, cynical, dreams of a life away from the village, fiercely loyal to those she loves. Scottish accent required.

MAGAIDH

60s+, female/non-binary. Matriarch of the village, the other women look up to her, she is bold and speaks her mind, well respected in the community, intelligent, proud of her heritage. Scottish accent required.

LACHLANN

Mid 20s, male/non-binary. A farmer, new to the village, a protector. Scottish accent required.
